The Tuning Lessons

The traditional method of learning piano tuning, which is what we teach, relies solely on the human ear and requires students to develop their musical memory. This enables them to identify, compare, and judge the beat speed that occurs when two strings are tuned nearly together. Additionally, they must develop fine motor skills in their hands and arms to set the tuning pin and string, ensuring that the piano remains in tune even after heavy use by the pianist. Acquiring these skills takes time.
